Refund, Return & Replacement Policy

At AcademicBag.in, we are committed to delivering the correct and high-quality products to our customers. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Eligibility for Return or Replacement
A return or replacement request may be placed only if:

The product received is damaged or defective.

The product delivered is different from what was ordered.

The product is missing items or components.
To initiate a request, please visit the Order Details section under “My Account” and click on the Return button.
2. Reporting Timeline

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 2 days from the date of delivery.

Requests raised after this period will not be entertained.
We recommend recording an unboxing video as proof in case of damage or incorrect product delivery.
3. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for return or replacement:

The item must be unused.

The item must be returned in its original condition.

All original packaging, tags, accessories, and free gifts (if any) must be returned.

The product must not be tampered with, installed, or used.
4. Non-Returnable Cases
Returns or replacements will not be accepted in the following situations:

Return request raised after the allowed time period.

Product returned without original packaging, tags, accessories, or freebies.

Product damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or usage.

Installed or used products.
-
Tampered products.
-
Combo sets (cannot be returned partially).

Products ordered in error or no longer required (unless cancelled before dispatch).
5. Order Cancellation

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.

Once the order is shipped, cancellation is not possible.

If you have ordered a product by mistake, please contact us immediately before dispatch.
6. Return Shipping Process

AcademicBag.in does not provide reverse pickup service.

Customers must self-ship the product to the address mentioned below.

Return shipping charges must initially be borne by the customer.

In case of verified damaged or defective products, return shipping cost may be compensated in the form of coupons or reward points (at our discretion).
7. Replacement Policy

Replacement will be processed only if the product is available in stock.

If the product is out of stock, a refund will be processed after customer confirmation.

Replacement requests are subject to inspection and approval by our quality team.
8. Refund Policy

All refunds will be issued in the form of Reward Points, valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product passes quality inspection.

Refund details will be shared via your registered email address.

Processing time for refunds is typically 5–7 working days after approval.
9. Free Gifts
If a product was purchased with a free gift, the free gift must also be returned in original condition for the return to be processed.

11. Approval of Requests
All return and replacement requests are subject to verification and approval. AcademicBag.in reserves the right to approve or reject requests based on inspection findings.
